Jesse Clement

Jesse is a PhD candidate researching Virtual Reality interactions with the aim of creating useful guidelines for future software designers and developers. This lifelong interest in VR comes alongside a 25-year career as a Microsoft Systems Engineer and his current employment as Director of Information Technology for the educational technology company, Champion Life (championlife.com.au).

When he's not working at one of his first two jobs, he enjoys teaching classes in virtual and augmented reality design at the University of the Sunshine Coast. In 2018 he helped found the university’s immersive technology course offerings, creating DES308, Virtual and Augmented Reality Design.

Any leftover gaps in the schedule are filled designing VR and AR software for purposes ranging from pure delight to digital marketing.

All of these no-doubt worthy concerns are forgotten in an instant when his wife and young son want to visit him at work for a play. : )
