Pre-Service Teacher Tracker

A real-time system that guides a targeted mentoring and assessment of pre-service teachers. The captured data is available to the mentor, pre-service teacher and other stakeholders of the WIL experience via a web-based interface.

OUTCOMES
The Pre-Service Teacher Tracker (PTT) system has been developed to use a mobile interface integrated with a cloud-based web backend. Mentors are able to assess a pre service teacher's current understanding and application of a topic using a four-star rating system. More feedback via notes, goals and video can be attached and communicated to the pre-service teacher.
