bystander behaviour to sexual assault

bystander.PNG

Research, design, implementation and evaluation of an ecologically valid and reliable way to measure actual bystander behaviour in response to a perceived sexual assault. Other research into bystander behaviour often relies on self-reporting of what people might do, which does not match actual behaviours in real-life situations. Our research used the immerse studio, actors and deception to create an environment where participants believed a sexual assault was occurring, and where their actual behaviours were recorded.
